MyHeritage: Family Tree & DNA App Reviews

I really love this app! In a couple of days, I traced back our tree a couple of hundred years! Ive also received hundreds of "smart matches" that have cleared up some questions in the tree. Thanks for such a great app!

Its a great app, and I have to write something about it or else Ill get harassing pop ups forever. So, congrats on what Im sure is yet another subliminally coerced positive review.

I just downloaded and started using. I find it a lot easier than its competitor. It was free to download thats why I tried it. Am extremely happy with it.

As long. As you have the space it works well. Better on a Kindle Fire.

My family is very dysfunctional and I have more than 1 mother and father (Im adopted) please fix this

I like the smart matches and ease of use.

Should have a monthly subscription also and a free trial.

This app is junk. It is easy to add your information. This gives your information to their data base. But if you want to get access to their information, you must pay. A waste of time.

Im not feeling the price. Too much to try to find my relatives. I can that for genealogy and be done with it.

This app is easy to use and it offers quick results, but I also think the price is too high. Worse than that it is one of those automatic, recurring payment subscriptions. I hate those automatic renewal plans.

I made a family tree that had my great great grandparents on both sides down threw my grandchildren. I included birth, death dates, and wedding dates too. After two months they had found no new information. I a from a large family in Maine. It did not find even one of my grandfathers 13 siblings.

I really love this app, but I keep going back and forth between it and the browser site on my phone. I havent figured out how to save search information to peeps in my line from the app, so I switch Windows and use the website. When Im on the website, I havent seen how to add new facts to people, so I switch back to the app. It would be great if you created an easy way to do both things in each area! Thank you

You are required to pay $119/year to get yer first bit of info. The app is free to download but, its expensive to use. Not gonna bother with it. "Free" comes with a cost.

This is one top notch program that I rely on heavily (along with supporting ancestry type apps)! I do most all my major work in Ancestry then sync it with one of the other apps to put together a nice printable (book and/or CD)edition of my family history. Its so much fun and exciting!

I have spent say two years at least trying to do a genealogy search of my father who was born in Germany. I continually met with dead ends and no information. My sister-in-law is doing a search using My Heritage she recommended the site. Now I am inundated with so much precise information that I have to postpone posting until "tomorrow " For the most part the app is very intuitive and the design Is attractive puts similar sites to shame.

Wonderful app and PC download if your looking to build your family tree but not have papers everywhere. Its a great way to keep track of everything youve learned and done so far
